I changed my blower motor in hopes that I would get my heating back, but it still looks like my module is not working correctly. Dose anyone know how to test the unit before I go buy one and can't return it.

BLOWER CONTROL MODULE
Blower control module is a solid state device. It controls
blower motor by varying voltage to blower motor between 0 and 12 volts
(off-maximum speed). To determine appropriate output voltage, blower
control module monitors a varying voltage signal (between 2-8 volts)
from A/C-heater programmer. The blower control module then amplifies
A/C-heater programmer signal and apples voltage directly to blower
motor. A/C-heater programmer monitors signals from blower control
module.

The blower control module is located under the maxifuse area. It'* literally in the hvac box and accessible once you pull the maxifuse center off the firewall (2 10mm nuts).

Can you check the voltage the blower motor control module is sending to the blower at various speed settings? Should be 12V on high down to 0 at off.

Just tested the wires from the blower motor module to the blower motor itself. The voltage remained constant as I adjusted the climate controls inside the car. I was getting around 10 volts even with the climate ontrols in the off postion.

Sounds like you need to replace the module, but I will send a PM to Billboost37 and ask him to look through this thread and weigh in with his suggestions. He knows much more about this than I do.

Do you have the manual or electronic climate controls? Most SE'* would have come with manual *****, but it'll be a determining factor on how to proceed.

The electronic fan issues are typically the module. The manual retains high speed through a relay and not the module, therefore if you have high only..it'* probably the resistor which I'm not 100% on the location, but believe it'* the same as the module on the electronic version.

I have the electronic controls for the climate. When this first started the blower would not shut off when i turned the car off. I used to unplugg it each time I would shut the car off. Now the blower motor will not go on at all. And yes the blower would be on high speed only when this started happening.
