Exclamation ignition switch problem

how hard is it to take out and replace the ignition switch in a 1996 Bonneville SSEi what steps need to be taken and would the pcm need to be reprogrammed for a new key

Not sure how hard it is to replace, don't have my manuals here. But changing VATs keys could be a problem if the new one has a different resistance. You may need to do the VATs bypass. You can find a write up on that in the tech info area in electrical.
