sensor functions
I am looking to find out which sensors control fuel delivery and timing in open and closed loop operation. Thanx in advance.

my car runs fine. This info is for personal use. I am writing an article.
Also if the ect sensor is bad will it affect the temp guage?

err...You have two temp sensors, one goes to the PCM one goes to the gauge. Thinking it was in a drunken stupor. As far as the sensors that turn on and off between open and closed loop...none really. The PCM just ignores the o2 sensor till it thinks its warmed up enough. It'll also ignore it during a WOT run.
