P1652 whats wrong?
i was headin home aftr a night of wet driving fun and my check engine light was on. i hooked up my $99 code reader and it said p1652 twice, and it said auxillary inputs. but on the tech info it said: DTC P1652 Cooling Fan Relay 2 Control Circuit are those one and the same? if so, what does it mean?

Your PCM can tell if the cooling fan relay is removed by reading feedback voltage through the relay coil.
First thing to try is find the relay unplug it and clean the pins and put it back in and see if code resets.
PS: What brand and model of code reader do you have?

It'* not that old..
Did you follow the original advice and pull the relay, clean and reinstall?
That would be my first suggestion of the morning.

Hmmm, working normally.....I would need to look up the diagnostics in the manual at home. Maybe someone has the manual on them. (I'll pm a guy who keeps the 97 book in his trunk)
