Default Complete loss of power, Barely wants to move........

There is a strange loss of power my car is facing now. When you give it gas it pretty much putts along. I even removed the serpintine belt for the power steering and alternator because the tensioner on that side was jittering around. With the belt removed the car starts up fine still has a werid noise and i canceled out the */C coupler and tensioner and pulley, along with water pump which was just replaced. I am at the point where i am unsure if its a belt releated problem. Does this sound like a bad harmonic at all? also when in park or neutral and giving the car gas it sounds fine and healthier, As soon as you put it in any gear there is a draw on the engine and you get like a "studdering" noise. I need some more ideas on this guys or anything else i can test to find the problem, Thanks in advance \Jay
Oh yeah and if its as simple as its because the alternator isnt hooked up let me know lol meaning because the engine is running off the battery.....

My guess would be fuel or spark although it could also be a bad catalytic converter.
Check for spark at each of the 3 front cylinders.
A fuel pressure gauge is the best way to check the fuel pump.
Is there any hissing or rattling coming from the exhaust?
