92 SSEi..... as you may know this is my donor car so I don't want to spend time and money on it that I don't have to. Also it is not licensed so I can't really go anywhere.

Starting from a stop with heavy throttle, it tries to throw you out the windshield, then backfires, then starts to pick up. By massaging the throttle, you get more or less steady acceleration. Not having driven one, I don't really know what it should feel like. The SES light goes on and off like a pinball game so I am assuming it (the car) has electrical issues.

I have read http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...pic.php?t=2539
It will have a different fuel pump and whole exhaust after the swap. I guess I was just looking for been there ..done that advice.
Thanks

86 Fiero soon to be L67 powered. May not run,but it will look great!

The easiest thing to do is get the SES light scanned to see what it says. Being it is a '92, I think there is a way to jumper two pins on your diagnostic port to cause your dash light to flash a code. That code should tell you fairly closely what is wrong, or at least head you in the right direction.
