Default Supercharger question

My supercharger has began to rattle, most noticeble when I shut the engine off there is a loud rattle. Will it eventually lock up and really tear something up? And how long can I get away with it like this until I can replace it. Talked to PSE superchargers and they can send me a rebuilt one with lifetime warranty for $599.00.

This belongs in forced induction and an admin/mod will move soon.

Meanwhile that is probably your supercharger coupler. Search on that and you will get more information as to how a bad coupler sounds and feels.

ZZP sells the coupler for $30 and SC oil for about $6-7 a bottle..you'll need two bottles. Also needed will be gaskets for TB and supercharger to motor.
