Hey, I changed the fuel filter and air filter yesterday, ran good took to AdvancedAuto they ran codes drove home and ran fine , ran good this morning to work then on the way home felt a little sluggish the turned off while picking up mydaughter, came back out was turning over bot getting no fuel I guess,
do you think it has short out fuel pump? codes came back with cyd.2 misfire and a few codes from trans sluggish issues ,going to tow home would like a responce before i buy fuel pump? thanks again

Robert, what year and model ? I have a 94 SE non-supercharged that experienced similiar symptoms. Would just cut off going down the road, no warning no nothing. Then would crank and crank but not start.......turned out to be the ignition control module (sits underneath the coil packs). Have you checked the fuel pressure at the fuel rail ? I had a mechanic tell me that the fuel pumps in the 94'* were pretty bullet-proof......I took that with a grain of salt though. Do you hear the fuel pump humm when you first click the ignition to on?

So far I have changed oil and filter, changed plugs, changed the fuel filter(gummed up BAD) unable to blow through it, checked the O2 sensor, Today cleaned all battery connections, changed the middle coil pack( #2 cyl. misfire code) cleaned battery, and replaced many rubber connections for vacuum lines, So I started the motor, took numerous times to keep running, I had to pull throttle to keep running hearing alot of air near air filter(new) due to forcing engine to run, thinking about changing Ing.Coil Module tomorrow,
Any more suggestions WELCOMED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry if I asked this already. Did you check for spark? Pull a plug, hook it up to the plug wire and lay it on a ground. Then have someone crank it over and watch for a spark. If you have spark then you need to look at your fuel.

Hi,
I had the same experience w/ my '99 Bonne SE. Turned out that when I scanned it I got P0102, low volume air flow. For the replacement O2 device, shops wanted $250+++!!! eBay was all more then $120 for the part alone. I called around to reputable junkyards and got one for $50! That plus the scanner(B&D...$80 GREAT!) I saved enough already to be happy about it. Your codes are probably related to your main issue, #2 missing. Have you checked that it'* firing? Also, I found that encasing the plugs of the wires at both ends w/ electrical tape is an effective cost efficient way to remedy arcing and other issues there. GOOD LUCK! Bill

came home today pulled plug, looks to be getting spark, put back in, turned on ing. heard no humm,
getting fuel from filter line, and fuel rail, No tester for pressure!
started up quickly, ran to throttle cables to rev up, ran at 2500 + rpms for about 6-8 mins then left to idle for another 4-6 mins running good ,slight miss, ran for about 12 mins then started bogging down, stalled out ,tried to start back up , cranked over alot not able to run ,closed hood , this is so stressful!!
So as we started 2 weeks ago same problem,
New plugs, oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, #2 coil pac, Ing.control module,$30.. fresh gas
Codes from last week-
PO108(map)
PO135/140(O2 #1+2 )
PO302(cyd2 misfire)
PO 740 (TCCcircuit)
PO753 solenoid A circuit,
PO758 shift solenoidB circuit,
P1406, P1655, P1870- Man.control-aux emission-inputs/outputs,transmission
Have not done the sensors-Map-Mas-TPC and any others
ANY SUGGESTIONS????????????????????????????

Hmm, I'm torn here. It'* dieing when hot, that'* leading me to a electrical problem, like a cracked coil that'* arching to ground. When it dies pull all the plugs right away. yes, I know it'* hot, so be careful. Are the plugs wet? Did you test all the coils? Inspect them close for anything that looks like a very thin crack. When you get it running try misting the coils, plugs and wires with a mist of water, turn out the lights and see if you can see and blue flashes. The only other thing that comes to mind right now is a plugged fuel filter.

OK, try this. Next time it wont start, check the shrader valve on the fuel rail to see if you have fuel pressure. If nothing it could be the fuel pump. I'm suspecting you have pressure. I think it'* a spark problem. When it wont start check for spark.
