Car sputters when turning...
This has actually been a long-time issue with my car, but I never really thought it to be an actual [i]problem[i], just maybe unavoidable circumstance...
When the gas tank gets to about 1/3-1/4 capacity, and I take either a really sharp turn quickly or a long loop around, the car begins acting like its struggling to get gas. My theory behind this was that all the gas was sloshing to one side of the tank or the other so that'* why it wouldn't get to the pump, but could it actually be a weak fuel pump?
Just wanted to pick your brains...

92'* are famous for their tank baffle problems. My 92 has to be kept at 1/2 or fuller to let it operate on hills.
A weak fuel pump will show itself most of the time durring high demand , althought it is easy to check the fuel pump with a pressure tester.

I kinda figured it was just a design flaw. Gotta love it. It wasn't a terrible problem, just something I'd definitely fix if I could

Overall not a bad job once you realize that before you go at it.. buy the tank straps. Usually under $30 for the set.
That way when the bolts don't want to come loose you support the tank and cut the straps. Presto... Life can be much easier for $30 or less.

LOL at Sonoma.. I didn't Friday night...
Some find it easier to drop the exhaust when pulling the tank. I have a knack for using most of the fuel and the tank is light enough to not be a burden. Having done it both ways in the past..it'* a toss up.
Either way..a gearhead realizes that the car is merely a bunch of parts and bolts put together in a certain order. If you get the FSM for the car..it tells you exactly how each piece is put together and how tight the bolts should be. There'* an order and procedure for everything.. it'* like anything else you do in life...once you realize it'* not actually hard...it becomes easy.
