All of the timing is set through the PCM. It cannot be adjusted.

Why are you looking to modify the timing?

think it has jumped timing due to chain stretching over time. Im not getting any fire through the coil packs and it only spins over. I have replaced the crank shaft sensor along with the fuel pump as well. and still just spins

The 3800 timing chains are quite strong and rarely break, much less stretch, in stock applications. It sounds like your ignition control module is dead.

Also, I'm moved your thread into the Bonnevilles 1992-99 section for better exposure, not that this should stop people from welcoming you to GM Forum, myself included. Welcome to GM Forum!

If you have no spark, that has nothing to do with your timing. The only way to change that is with a computer and the correct software.

If you have no spark at all it could be a bad ICM. What is your security light doing?
