Got some more info on my drive to practice today. When I hit 47 MPH, and OD kicks in, the TCC locks up momentartily, and then disengages. Here is what i got:

At 48 MPH
TCC Applied: Yes for a second, then back to no
TCC Lock: Yes
TCC Brake: No

At 60 MPH
TCC Engaged: No
Tcc Lock: Yes
Tcc brake: No
Tcc Slip RPM: 15

That'* a bit high on the slip. That may be why it engages, then unlocks. You want to be under 10rpms of slip in an ideal world, but I don't have my FSM'* handy right now to check what the PCM is actually calling for the limit to be.

What'* the condition of your fluid?

UH OH! Houston we have a problem. Brownish fluid, and there isnt a ton of it. I think its leaking from the tranny pan. The level is at the fill mark on the dipstick, if not a tad lower. The color scares me. Brown. Going to add fluid tomorrow when I pick some up, and see what happens. Think I should look at draining and changing the tranny pan gasket? Oh and the trans had a temp of 248 in Drive and 113 in Park in 62 degree weather.

If it were mine, at a minimum I would drop the pan and change fluid. A flush may be in order if the fluid is truly burnt.

Drop the pan, change the gasket. Refill. Drive for a week (re-use the oem gasket), then have a flush.

Or you'll have no trans soon.

hopefully i will be able to drop the pan. depends on if my dad will let me/help. I've figured out the what ever my scan tool is reading isnt the actual temp. It is reading the position of a switch or something. Its weird. Park is always 113, Reverse is like 166, Neutral 113, Drive 248. It cant be the temp, since it is the same when the car has been setting for an hour or driving for 30 minutes.
