Leaky Exhaust Manifold??
Recently, when i rev my 95 sse up to approx. 2800 rmp, i can hear a decently loud engine noise, coming from somewhere under the hood. im thinking maybe a leak in the exhaust manifold, or one of my headers anyone ever had this problem before??

yup, its common on the series 2 engine. These manifolds aren't cast, so they can crack. Best bet is to remove the manifold, inspect it, and if they are ok, then replace the gasket. Most likley the manifold. Go to a yard and pull one off.

Most of our cars come with no gaskets, but should be put back together (if you pull it apart) with gaskets. Pay close attention to the torque specs in Techinfo, Specifications, and re-torque after 500 miles of running with new gaskets.
Things to check:
The 'donut' at the crossover pipe and downpipe. Downpipe is the big suspect.
Cracks in the rear manifold (tubular welded steel).
EGR
Let us know. You might need a flashlight and mirror from above and below to inspect for cracks.
