baffled no start
Saturday night, a block from my house, my '94 bonnie (se i think) dies. Cranked for a minute & nothing. Pulled off to side of road & noticed no power windows or locks working. Pulled off a plug wire & connected it to a lawnmower plug I happened to have in the trunk & plug is firing. Towed it home. Sprayed starting fluid into intake & it started, but then died. Hot wired the fuel pump & it runs fine. Checked the fuel pump relay under the right side of dash & it checks out OK. Now I'm stumped because I checked every fuse I could find in the car, both sides inside car, and under the hood and all are working. So to sum things up... the fuel pump, power windows, door locks, seats, and mirrors are all not working. Any Ideae what this can be?!?!?!?

Where is the ground under the carpet? Without removing everything, I'd like to know because when I wiggled the huge harness beside the door jamb under the driver carpet, everything started to work again!! THank you, thank you thank you, and if you could tell me where that ground is, I'd appreciate it.

That thread : http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...39383&start=20 shows exactly my problem. I looked at the wire loom and taped to it was a terminal block with all the ground wires plugged into it. I unplugged one to find that it was corroded. So, I unplugged them all and they all were corroded. So I cut off all the clips, stripped the wires, then soldered them all together, After soldering, I sealed them up permanently with hot glue, Now they are water and air tight & should never corrode again
( I know.....I should never say never ) Thanks everyone for your help!!
