Thanks, but there isn't any color choice. Was there only one cloth color interior?

No, there were multiple cloth colors available. You would want to specify on your order.

BTW, what color is your cloth?

If the color isn't mentioned, I'd call and double check to find out how they tell color.

Haha, I don't know. I'll go out and look in a little bit. I bought the car after only looking at it for a bit and drove it home at night...I haven't even had it a full day yet. I know the outside is a dark green (bleh) and I picked up black floor mats, but I think the interior is brown or grey, I don't remember.

Thanks so much for the help, sorry for all the n00b questions.

Ok, update.

I have a light grey interior. I went to the dealer...the top part was somewhere around $125 and the bottom part was $350.

I went to the nearest salvage yard and got a full unit for $15. Can't complain.

There are 2 phillips screws (one on either side) that will remove the assembly.

Here'* the new problem. The new unit, besides being the wrong color (its on the floor of the second picture) doesn't open well. I almost have to pry it open. The locking mechanism seems to work fine but you can't push the plastic enough to get it out of the whole. Does this make any sense?

Anything I can do without busting the latch?

Thanks,
Erik

Lol, like I said, yup...had problems with the latch getting stuck shut. Had to pry it open myself. Then I modified the latch using an X-Acto knife and a file to make it work better. I did it about 5 years ago, so don't remember exactly what I did, but I know you need to look carefully at how it latches and then modify it carefully from there.

If you do modify your latch, let us know how and maybe some pics. K?
