Parts Store
Does it really matter where I get my parts (O2 sensor, PCV valve, t-stat, etc.)?? Can I get the generic ones from AutoZone, or do I need to get the ones from gmpartsdirect...

Depends on what you're buying from where! O2 Sensors should be GM! Plugs can be from the cheapest place that carries AC Delco'* or NGK'*! Air filters, fuel filters, etc can be from anywhere too!

you are definitly right about getting what you pay for. like chris and stacy said, the pcv valve is really important. most generic ones use the same spring in all of them, most cars have a certain spring tension in the pcv valve to have it operate correctly. as far as sensors, federal laws set standards on them and the company must stand behind them. myself, when it comes to sensors , i use NAPA. well i kinda have to, we are a NAPA autocare service center
