Default Removal of plastic piece without breakage

How the heck do I get the plastic pieces off the wire harnesses over the SC nosedrive? I tried a few times and quit so I didn't beak it. Is there a trick to it? :?

Carefully pull up on the front of it. It will pop off.

I know how it comes off the ND as a whole, but I want to take the plastic pieces off completely to paint them. :? Is that what you're getting at?

I tried pretty hard to get the two pieces apart once off the nosedrive clips. You make it sound easy. I'll go at it again tonight.

Pete, he'* right. If you lift up on the front it'll pop right up (Should anyhow) and then you pull the lid forwardand the top will come right off the bottom.

Cool. It'* probably one of those things that looks harder than it is. For as hard as it was for me to figure out, it seemed to easy by the directions. But I'll give it another shot. Thanks guys.

Pete, when I removed it, I held the wires and pulled from the bottom edge until it poped. I then did the reverse on the top. Basically I tried to immobilize the wiring.
