Default gurgling sound in the dash

After running the heat for awhile I here a subtle gurgling, dripping type sound. maybe a bloop bloop sound. It gives out heat and it'* not leaking any antifreeze. Sometimes I think I smell antifreeze but I've asked other people if they smell it and they say no. I'm thinking heater core but not sure. This is something that wont come up for at least 3 to 4 months now its spring. But if you guys have heard this and it just gets worse like leaking I like to take care of it while its nice. Or maybe it'* just normal? Any advice or info on past experiences would be great!!!

Have you changed coolant lately? It kinda sounds as if the coolant system has an air lock.
If there'* no coolant leaking and no smell, just leave the radiator cap off and let the car warm up (don't drive it, of course) and see if that cures it.

I havent changed the coolant since I've had it. The coolant reserve tank is on the line. I've taken off the radiator cap just to peek in there, but engine was cold. Coolant looked good. I'll give your advice a try in the morning. Tomorrow I'm doing plugs, wires, cleaning throttle body, sea foaming, pvc valve, air and fuel filter. Oh ya and putting in my new silver stars. So doing that will seem like a break.
