Default Fuel pump regulator recall

Did anyone else get a recall notice for their 1999 bonnevile for the fuel pump regulator?
Could that be the reason for not clean starts or mild sputtering?

yes and it was the Fuel Pressure Regular that was recalled.....the FRP would leak down into the intake and causes a explosion in some cases

I got a recall notice and got mine done, even though I hadn't noticed any symptoms that the notice described.

Took about 45 minutes. It'* free, so what the hell? Git 'er done!

Isn't that on the 96 and later?

I never got one for the 95, and the 95 Series II'* weren't reported to have this problem... as well there was a diffrent regulator used iiirc
i believe that it was only on the 98-99 L36 tghat was effected by the recall

I replaced mine during "routine" maintenance. Then when the upper intake went a year ago, they replced it again under the recall.
