Air Intake Temp
With my ScanGauge I can read the air intake temp given by the IAT sensor. I read somewhere on the forum that acceptable temps were "a few degrees above ambient temp". All thorugh August, this was the case and IAT was about 3-5 degrees above the outside air temperature. For the past couple weeks ouside air temps have been cooler (around 65-70) but my IAT has been up around 80-110 degrees. It also seems that the engine temp has been a little higher than usual. It'* normally around 190 and now it'* getting up to 200 during regular driving.
I checked around my TB since I just had it off a few weeks ago to paint it and I didnt find any leaks. I didnt have any carb cleaner on hand so I just used some Blaster since it says you can use it to help start engines. Not sure if it was really safe or not, but I used it anyways.
What else might be causing the high intake temps?

Once you stop for a moment and the intake heat soaks, it'* quite normal to see the temps you do. The pcm adjusts for it, therefore it'* not really an issue.
