Rear Driver Window Stuck
Hey everyone,
The back seat window on the driver'* side is stuck in the up position. I can't operate it with the controls by the driver'* seat or the controls on the door itself. Any suggestions on where I should start looking for the problem? Would it be something as simple as a blown fuse?
There'* no body damage on that side, but my doors and windows have had a tendency to freeze shut in the winter, and I'm wondering if I tried to roll it down when it was frozen and burnt something out. I don't hear any kind of motor noise or anything when I push the down button -- it just doesn't do anything.
But it'* no crisis or anything. If the front driver'* side window didn't move, I'd be outside with my Chilton'* and a flashlight getting that thing functional, but the rear window isn't that big a deal to me. I'm just curious as to where I should start looking to diagnose the problem.
Thanks!

Could be a bad motor, bound motor, switch, or wiring. The drivers switch being bad could disable it. The wiring where it gets bent from the door to body of car could have broken and if there'* any goo or goop on the window that can keep it from moving. Although you say there'* no sound of the motor trying.
I'd think one of the first couple. My suggestion would be to open the door panel and test for power and ground at the connector to the motor. Then work your way back from there depending on what you come up with.
