Bad noise when i step on the gas from stop.
When i step on the gas hard from a stop. I get this kind of grrrrr noise. but then when i get up to speed it won't do it. Doesn't seem of effect the proformance at all. Any ideas. sounds like it'* comming from the right side of the engine... where the pullys are. don't know if it might be my supercharger going. the tensioner pully. or somthing to do with the drivetrain.. thanks.

my car makes that noise sometimes. It could be your traction control?? I think thats on the left side though. My car also made a similiar noise to that after doing the timing. But it was more of a humming or vibrating noise that came from the pedal. It is gone now. I dont know what the hell it was.

Wolf, put your year and model in your signature. We need that information to answer your posts.
Need to know if your SC makes noise at idle, and how much boost you get under WOT. Yes, it could be traction. Try turning it off to see if you get the noise, then get back to us.

Ok. i put my stuff on my signature. hopefully it will show up. It'* not the traction control. It'* louder than the noise that makes when it kicks in. It is a deeper grown too. Yes my supercharger is making some clanking when it is at idol. It has 106,000 miles on it though. I need to replace it anyways, but i don't have the money right now. thanks for the help.

If you're getting 9psi, your rotor assembly is good. You may have a bearing or coupler going out in the nosedrive. The absolute most you should replace is the nosedrive assembly. If you're not up to rebuilding it yourself, order it from Canadian Supercharger. JUST the nosedrive.
Now you need to isolate the noise you're getting. It probably isn't the SC. They don't make that much noise typically when the bearings start to go. Tensioners and Alternators, as well as AC compressors are more typical. Use a mechanics stethescope (5-10 bucks at the auto parts store) to help isolate the problem.

ok.. i was noticing today when i was sitting at stop and turning the wheel. There was a creaking that came from the right side. I'm guessing it'* something to do with the bearings, or joint on the right side. Got any ideas.
