I have a problem and free parts!!
First the free parts. I went to a U-Wrnech it yard and got a replacement rear bumper for my 95 SSE. Complete bumper: steel bumper, styrofoam insert and plastic outer shell, from a 96 SSE. Well i got them home and found that basically nothing about my 95 bumper was like the 96 bumper that I bought. Anyhow, the only thing broke on mine was the outer plastic piece, and the 96 bolted up with some mods. Now i am stuck with a steel bumper and styrofoam insert. I have no use for them and I really don't think anyone would buy them, and since I only paid $50 for the whole thing and got what I wanted, i would give it away to anyone who wanted to come get it or send me money to ship it to them. I live in Southwest MI. Anyone iterested reply and i'll email you personnaly.
Now, my problem. Long story short, I ran into a concrete curb going about 10-15 mph (ice). I hit it almost head on with my tire turned. If i would have straightened the wheel i would have hopped the curb and hit a rather large light post, so i took the lesser of two evils. The impact was hard enough to ruin the rim(Ireplaced it immediately). After the accident i noticed my steering wheel was no longer straight and the car pulled heavily to that side. SO I figured i bent a control arm or something. i pull the wheel off and can't really tell whats bent or wrong. So i took it to the local shop to have them check it out. they've always done me good, and i know the owner personnaly. the only thing they found wrong was the drivers side tie rod was loose and the struts were shot(which they have been for some time). they couldn't tell that anything was bent or torqued. They suggested that maybe soemthing in the drive train may have been whacked, and there was really no way of tellin wihtout taking things apart. That sounded kind of screwy to me and I figure it still has to have something to do with the suspension. Any thoughts or suggestions? I told them to go ahead with the struts, tie rod and alignment (I don't feel like doin that crap outside right now in my driveway). I fogure if something IS in fact bent, it won't align properly, and they'll have to figure out what it is by then. Anyone done this or have an idea?

First and easiest thing to try would be a front end alignment. Hitting the front end that hard will definitely throw the alignment off. Less than 30 bucks normally, and wheter it fixes everything or not, you most likely need it anyway

Yeah SLE, it looks a little diff. I liked my old bumber better, but at least this one'* in one piece. the only real problem I had is the 96 bumper doesn't wrap up inot the trunk like my 95 did, so i had to do a little more modifying.
