Nevermind, I just got a little rough with it and got the parts removed that need removing. It ain't pretty, but it works. I replaced the male/female connector assembly, that incidentally probably cost GM thousands of dollars in engineering salaries to come up with, with $.50 worth of 7/64 rubber vacuum line to splice the programmer to the supply lines. I tested it out and it works like a charm.
