Flowmaster is better for performance than stock, and probably within 5% of the performance of the Magnaflow. If that'* close enough for you to want to lean to the flowmaster side for the sound you're after, then more power to you. You're still better off than stock. That'* what'* important.
I'd still like to assemble a general Techinfo. This thread is BULGING with good info. Kudos to the Doc again.

I think every muffler made will be slightly different. Magnaflow has the stainless going for it, but I prefer the flowmaster.
EDIT: The files will stay up so they can be linked to my server.
