Default Traction Control Off

My '95 SSE Traction Control is turning off automatically. As soon as I put in drive, it turns off. Pressing the button does nothing. I've got 130K miles. Anyone got any ideas? Is the traction control expensive to fix? Thanks.

It can be VERY expensive to fix. Anywhere from 130-almost 1000 bucks. Check the freebies first. Inspect the wiring harnesses at all 4 wheel speed sensors (back sides of the hubs), make sure they're connected, no corrosion inside, and no wire damage.

TC codes will have to be pulled by the dealer. Average cost of pulling codes is $80.
