Unhappy Steering and some sputter/stall at slow speed

Hello,

It'* been a long time since I posted here but I have some problems with the bonn.
I got pretty frustrated and almost bought a G8 but I just need the Bonn to last me a few more months

Basically I have two problems that I hope you guys can help me out with.

First my car will stall out about 75% of the time when in a parking lot an backing out or turning into a spot. If I slightly hit the gas I can avoid the stall. I also noticed that my fuel economy has been alot more crappy lately. I got my engine light checked out at AutoZone and these were the codes being spit out:
P107 - MAF sensor
P108 - MAF sensor
P121 - TPS

My second problem is that the steering makes this stupid "whirrrrrr" and "groaan" sound whenever I am turning. It is more noticeable when in the slow speeds. I did some search and I see posts about steering fluid. Should I just dump some new fluid in there? The reservoir is hard to get to, how can I check the level of the fluid?

Back to my first problem..
So after reading some threads here I got some MAF cleaner, took out the sensor (it looked pretty clean btw) and sprayed it down a bit. After reinstall I still get the engine light.

What is the next logical step? Should I get a remanufactured MAF sensor?
I'll try to get some carb cleaner and check for leaks. However I doubt this will be very noticeable for me..
Also, what can I do about the TPS problem?

Thanks!

This should cover the steering fluid.

I would check for vac leaks before replacing any parts. You can test your MAF by unplugging it when the engine is not running. Then start the car and drive around. Just don't go over half throttle. If the engine runs better, the MAF is bad. If you see no change, the MAF is not causing the problem.

Hey Danthurs thanks!

You were right about both items. It stops stalling now but the check engine light is still on.
I hope it holds together until this summer
