Default strut/alignment. question

hey guys i replaced my struts last night i am going to get an alignment tomorrow. But i noticed the car tries to steer itself now. it starting snowing right after i changed them and it was the worst my car has ever handled in the snow. I was acctually scared to drive it. Its like the steering is very loose and is steering where ever. it is weird..?? The clunk noise and memory steer problems went away that i was having before. Will this be okay after the alignment or do you think i have another problem now???

yes the alignment will be key. Replacing the struts can really change to dynamics of the suspension. get that alignment done and ill bet the problems will go away

Agreed. I had a bad wobble during acceleration around 50MPH. After I changed the front struts it went away but in order to go straight the steering wheel pointed to the 10 o'clock position. After the alignment, everything was great.

next time you do struts mark off the bottom of the strut where it meets with the knuckle this there for when you put new struts on your camber will be somewhat simlar to what is was before

your problem is the tire isnt rideing on the center that why the handling sucks

look at the front of your car does the wheel look like it riding to the inner bead or the outer bead??

looks like its riding on the outer. I am taking it to bell tire tomorrow fist thing in the morning. I was just worried they were gonna say somthing else is wrong like they always do. Thanks guys makes me feel better. everyone should invest in a air compressor. that air ratchet is awesome! this job was cake with it. little less that 300 bucks at home depot. it comes with tons of tools too. Including paint guns!
