Default Power Windows... What is wrong??

Hey all I have been having some problems with my passenger side window for some time now...

at first...It would not let down ( by drivers side or passenger side) until I gave it a good wiggle (on the passengerside) then it would let up and down pretty good for a while(using both sides)

then..all of a sudden it stopped working all together..hasn't worked for about 2 months..no matter how hard I wiggled it or slammed the door back and forth..I assumed that the motor had went out completely..

all of a sudden..(this morning it worked :?: )

I am thinking it will go out again!

ok Last night I replaced my thermostat..(my under hood light was not working and i was wondering why..just got a flashlight and continued!

took her for a spin..and came back home...checked the coolant and topped it off..I noticed then that the light under my hood was now working :?: didn't think anything of it until now..I'll bet that my door started working the same time as the lights under the hood!...

Also I DID not unhook the battery cable.. i know but I forgot to do it..just started unbolting bolts..and whne i realized it I had the thermostat in...so the battery was stil hooked up and the light was still off!

Lastly...I unhooked a sensor that kinda crosses the thermostat top and the hose that comes from the radiator..maybe a tps sensor..not sure but it crosses over the thermostat housing top. I hooked it back up also!

Not sure if allthis infomation matters or not but if someone could diagnose something from it I would surely appreciate it!

thanks

Wiggled _what_, exactly?

Agreed, but maybe just from lack of use. While it'* still working (or the next time it starts working _again_), just run it all the way up and down about 20 times. (Yes, count 20 repetitions.) See if that gets it back in shape for a while.

Nope, completely separate circuits. The underhood light is powered from the external lighting circuit, so it only works when you lift the hood while your outside lights are on.

Not sure what that would be. Your ignition coil pack is in that vicinity, as well as temperature sensors, but... Anyhow, if everything is reconnected now, fine.

Sometimes the brushes get stuck. Hold the button down and hit the door under the armrest at the same time.

When the window quit on my old '82 Cutlass, I'd just drive around while holding my finger on the button, and eventually it would start working again. As soon as it did, I'd run it through several cycles all the way up and down, and that seemed to keep it going for a while.
