Default gas smell

when i have the fan on high i smell gas...when im sittin there idling...its not hte exhaust from the car infront of me cuz most of the time there isnt one...what is it and how do i fix it?

so does anyone know why that smell is there???? leaky exhaust???? bad injector seal ...?

Could be you have a small leak in a fuel line. My friends 94 Crown Vic had a leak, never was enough to leave a puddle or drip but it sure stunk like gas in the car.

I had a little leak on the fuel line in the rear, right by the gas tank.

Could be the FPR.....or possibly the vapor canister lines below the airbox are disconnected?

I had the same problem and it was a bad O-ring on one of the injectors. If this is the case you should see the leak when the car is running. Just a thought good luck.
