Default 94 Se Water Pump

I'm in the process of replacing the water pump and need some help. I'm currently trying to get the two bolts behind the motor mount with no success. Is there a trick to getting the mount off? I've got the 3 bolts that hold the bracket to the block but cant get the actual mount off. The bolts on the bottom side of the mount seem impossible to get off. Its too tight of a fit for my breaker bar. If I can get this bracket off I could get this water pump changed in no time.

If you have a 15mm open end wrench, put the closed end on the bolt, take another wrench with the closed end and slip it over the open end of the 15mm. You have now just extended your 15mm. Caution, this is not exactly safe to do, so prepare yourself for possible knuckle bashing, tool tossing, swearing, etc.

I was trying with a close end wrench but I'm afraid I'm going to strip the bolts. Maybe soak them in some PB Blaster and heat it up?? Its becoming a real bitch and this is the last part and I've got it done.

Take the long bolt out of the motor mount.
Place a "plank" of wood on a low profile jack & raise the engine 2" or so. You have to anyway to remove this half of the mount.
This should give you enough clearance for a breaker bar from underneath. I use anti-seize on those bolts.

Ok, I thought I read somewhere to jack it up until the power steering pump container is hitting the top bar(Strut Bar?)? I'll try that tomorrow when I get up, at the moment I've got the bolts soaking to maybe help loosen them up.

You have to jack the engine up to get the motor mount off the engine stud (top mounting point) of the bracket. But the frame mount has to come out first.

You will also need to loosen the 4 water pump pulley bolts before you can remove the engine mount bracket.

Use a 6 point socket on a breaker bar if you have one. Work the bolts in both directions.

I've got the 4 bolts and the pulley off of the water pump already. Im working on the mount now. The top bolt is stuck in there so I let it soak overnight and this morning I"m going to borrow a bigger impact to get that bad boy out of there. As for the bottom frame bolts, I'm gonna try to jack the engine up to give me enough clearance for a breaker bar. I'll post back and any further input would be apprechiated.

Update:

Got the mount off and the new pump on, and everything tightened up. Running good and sounds a hell of a lot better than it did. Definitely a must to take the mount off, I took a 2foot break bar and worked it out. Took awhile but it got the job done. Thanks for all the help!
