Default PCM Question! Techies needed!!!!

would a 95 Pontiac transport with teh L27 have the exact same PCM and such things as my 94 bonneville?

Reason is that i found PCM definitions (for my OBD scanning software) for a 95 transport that said it had an L27... they seem to have all the same sensors. I also have the option of a 95 Bonneville that was supposed to be for an L36 engine (is that possible?) This is all 8192 Baud stuff... no OBDII....

DAGGUMIT... I think my temporary Car-Puter (HP Evectra) cant handle the serial device i was pluggin in to it. I get the MAX232 echo on my home PC (means that it works) but when its in teh car the HP just wont read it. I hate HP .

That means i probably wont have constant OBD for my trip this weekend... but i have a bigger better NON HP computer in the mail so when i get that set up ill be GREAT...

Pics of the current "temporary" setup in a moment
