Cleaning the motor would have made that coil pack jump out.

Cleaning? Not to sound stupid or anything, but could you elaborate? We talking about washing it, or misting it with water in the dark, or what?
I really should have seen this in advance. I feel quite silly actually. But in my defense I had tested the coil packs like 3 times in the last month. They all tested good. Then my car got really bad! So I assume that my coils were working well under light use, but when I got demanding, they couldn't handle it. I'm not sure how/why coils go bad, but mine seemed to work half assed, then quit completely.
