Default L67 swap in 97 se. Questions? ASAP!!!!

I am planning a L67 swap into a 97 se. i looked on L67swap.com and the directions were for 98 and up. the guy who wrote the directions said that a 97 swap was harder and he did not have expertice in it. what makes it harder? can it be done? any input would be greatly appreciated.

i already have a tranny from a 98 olds 88 lined up. Still looking for motor.

you will need the WIre Harness, engine, PCM and most important the trans......you will also need a Bonne PCM...Make sure that the Olds trans will be compatable with the Wireharness, as there are distince differences through the years. Also what is the Gear ratio of the donor trans and is it a HD?

If its a HD the Olds was a 98' LSS and it does have the 2.93 axle as all 4T65-E HD'*.

You said 88 earlier, which was never supercharged, and can't have the 2.93. Then you said 98, but you need to specify if it'* the LSS or not. Be DAMN sure before you start. As far as I know, there are no trans or wire harness or even PCM differences from 97 to 98. But if you run into trouble, I didn't say that.
