Default Low speed/RPM shudder

Hi everyone, sorry to ask a question that I am sure has already been asked. I have a 1994 SSE, it runs great with 129k on it. In the past 5 years I've owned it I have replaced the starter, alternator, fuel pump and filter, battery other misc. items and just today I replaced all the plugs (went through the wires and they are all fine). Thanks to reading all the other posts from the rest of you on this board I did not buy the Bosch plugs...THANKS! The issue that I have is that when I am going through a parking lot at a low speed I feel the car shudder. There doesn't seem to be any problem with this at highway speeds since I replace the plugs this morning. After they were replaced I did a 1.5 hours highway ride with the cruise set between 76-79mph, not an issue what so ever. I went to local grease shop and had the oil change and checked out the trans oil and it is fine, no discoloration or dirt/metal chunks. Not sure what else to do or to look at, hopefully it is one of those little, quick fixes.

I had the same problem with my 99 SE a few months back, I replaced the plugs and wires now she runs and idles smooth. But you said your wires were fine so, I gues this won't be much help, sorry.

Default shudder

It would help to know : Is it a deceleration shudder or acceleration.

It is a little shudder if I am going through a parking lot at a steady, slow speed, say 5 or 7 mph. If I hit the gas it is fine, it'* only at that slow speed as I drive. All other speeds seem fine. I am not even sure if it is something I should worry about, to me it'* more bothersome than anything. Actually the car runs like it did when it was new. I bought it off my mother so I know the full history of it.

What is the idle speed when you are cruising the parking lot at 5-7mph?

I had a very similar problem on my 94.....cleaning the maf sensor *carefully* resolved the issue completely.

Could you describe to me what the maf sensor is and where it is?

Definition: A device used in many fuel injected engines to measure the amount of air entering the engine so the computer can control the air/fuel mixture. Located ahead of the throttle body, the MAF sensor uses a heated wire or filament to measure airflow.

I have that exact same problem but it does not happen all the time, just occasionally usually when I am going about 5 mph or coming to a slow stop from 15 or 10 mph.

MAF - Mass Air Flow Sensor, which does what Bandit posted it would do.
