posessed 92 ssei help!!!!
hey everyone.how goes it. so 1 of my few probs is this. have to prime the fuel pump several times to get the car to start. pump has 2700 miles on it.(carter) filter as well. pulled filter,no fuel in lines at all.replaced filter. no change. replaced fuel pressure regulator. no change. also, sputters on hard acceleration, not every time, dies at stops and cuts out on hard right hand turns, when low on fuel. should i pull the pump and exchange it? pickup screen ? wtf? let me know something somebody please. thanks. dust

Problems going down hill, accelerating quickly or turning when you are low on fuel is typically (in your year) a broken baffle in gas tank issue. When they break, the fuel sloshes and can't be picked up by the pump.
Hard starting etc, I'd be looking at the pump.
Kinda sounds like the diagnosis is a two for one deal. You hoped it was one bad thing and I'm suggesting it could be two.

broken baffle in fuel tank? i understand that, only because the first day i got the car i put a fresh fuel pump in,which i think is deffinitely goin bad,and when i pulled the previous fuel pump i could see that inside the tank was like three plastic walls, maybe four, that made a box the fuel pump kinda sat in.anyway one side of this plastic like wall was broken away.i thought to myself, well that dont look right.ive only done a total of three fuel pumps in my life,so i didnt know if that missing part of one of those interior walls would cause any abnormalities.if that is the case in this, dieing at sudden stops and cutting out while banking hard rights, then it does make perfect sense.am also in the process of tracking down a good used replacement, and exchangeing the fuel pump thats still under warranty.
