Default Ok, I need your help again guys!

I just changed both my serpentine belts and now I have a weird noise coming from the belt area. took the front one off and started the car no noise. So I reinstalled the belt back came the noise. I think it might be the tensioner but I have no clue on how to get the lower one off. Also my local auto parts store does not have them fo the sc model.

HELP!!!

what sort of noise? chirping? buzzing? squeeking?

how often does it happen? every engine rotation? every belt pass?

It seems to be every engine rotation and sounds like almost a clunking noise. But very fast. I drove the car and a cruising speed I don't hear it.

Ok, so I did some more investagating and found I can move the harmonic balancer back and forth just enough to make a noise like metal hitting metal . Is this my problem or should I look farther into it? :? If this is my problem HOW do I get it off?

Look close at the rubber on the balancer. My theory is it could be failing and ready to go. The new belt, not having been stretched like the old is putting the proper amount of tension on the situtation and making the balancer more prominent.
