surging.....is it the PCM'* fault?
what'* with all the problems with surging/sputtering in overdrive? my untrained brain suspects that maybe there are problems with the PCM, and not the torque converter or ignition system. if someone can directly prove to me that this scenario is not possible, please tell me and i'll shut up about this stuff. but otherwise it would be good to get some feedback about the nature of these problems. what i really want to know about people who are experiencing surging is as follows: (A)HOW MANY MILES ARE ON YOUR PCM? (B)WHAT KIND OF PCM ARE YOU RUNNING?

FWIW, I have never heard of PCM causing that or failing very often for that matter. For surging I would suspect a vacuum leak. If it is only in OD I would suspect torque converter. Just my $.02
