Trip meter trippin' out??
Aight so i'm driving around and i got 100 -something miles on the trip meter in the Driver'* information center....i stop at my destination.....shut the car off....handle my biz...turn the car back on....and viola....it reset itself......but that wasn't the first time.....that was when i was getting on one of those never-ending-curved onramps {and prolly going around it too fast on a low tank of gas} and the car almost stalled...then when it regained power...i look down and the trip meter reset itself....i had almost had 300miles on it that time so i figured it reached its limit and reset itself?? but the last few times its been less than that.......so i'm wondering why its resetting itself and if there'* something i can do to stop it from doing that...{cuz its kinda hard to find ur mpg that way...}

The power loss on the ramp is a bd strainer design, common on 92'*. Requires the tank to be dropped, do the pump while you're in there.
The odo may be loose wiring. That'* my best guess. Taking off the gauge pod and reseating the connectors might fix it.

The electronic trip meter on my '92 SSE */c has reset itself on occasion also. I've even seen it happen between the time I shut the engine off and when I later restarted it.
I never investigated the cause, though, because it happened so rarely and it hasn't happened in a while.
