Default Cruise Control Servo Cleaning.

So after reading someone else'* post about how to fix there cruise control.
I decided to try to fix mine also. I took some pics so every can see how they
look inside.

After taking it apart you can see a lot of bad contacts in there and see why it
may not want to work.

*Note, all pics that where taken close up where taken befor the contacts where cleaned*

Here it is mostly all apart.

Here are some pics of the parts inside.

In this pic you can see the contacts along the bottom and how dirty they are.
In the next pics you will see where they make contact.

This is where the connector makes contact.
You can see that they are also very dirty.

and the same with this one.

There was some rust on some part they was cleaned up to make sure they anything that could
make a bad connection will now be making a good one.

This is how it starts to go back together.

And so on...

Yay... Done!

And after all that... Still not working
So i have some FSM on there way, i found some 94'* on Ebay finaly that where in New Conditon for $40
so i will do some wire trubleshooting when they come

Yeah, the write up was great! Had you already replaced that part with another? Sorry to hear that it didn't work out.

OK, I thought that was what you swapped out at the meet in Ohio. Did you happen to measure the coils/solenoids to make sure they had continuity? Then, which of those connections go to those coils, and if the continuity was still there?

yup, did that, they looked ok... :?

Im thinking i have a bad wire somewhere now or somthing else is wrong, Cuz at that meet we also scanned my Computer and watched to see if it saw the switch turn on and it did. so i know the wires from the Wipper switch to the PCM are working.. i just dont know if theres a problem somewhere eles.

Should be interesting to see what you find after the FSM arrives.

Hi Bandit, I may be a bit blind, but I can't seem to find what year Bonne you have, the CC in the 95 doesn't work so I figure I would keep on eye on you're post. Good write up by the way.
