Default 94 SE OBD Scanner

Anyone have any recommendations for a low priced OBD Scanner for a 94 SE? I've been looking online and a lot of them say they support GM vehicles up until like 93 for OBD I and 95 + for OBD II...

Is the 94 OBD I or OBD II?

if you look under the hood on the emissions sticker (near radiator) it will tell you if OBD or OBDII

I have the Actron CP9145. Make sure that you get cable for your vehicle and you will be set. There is an optional extender cable that is worth the price.

well, here'* the deal, 94'* and 95'* are OBD 1.5 which means it has OBD 1 capabilities, plus a few extra functions and an OBD 2 connector under the dash. the issue with this is that OBD 2 scanners cannot scan it and OBD 1 scanners don't fit the connector. so, there are very limited options...

My Actron reads all of the codes as well as the live data. If I should ever need to scan an ODBII vehicle I only have to purchase the correct cable to do so. I use it for both my 95 Bonnieville and my 94 Park Avenue. It was money well spent.
