We are running! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
All gages are running right on - except the "check engine" light is on for some reason.
There is a sort of whistle sound from somewhere, and it'*' not shifting quite right now either. Vacuum hoses or something?

Double check all vacuum hoses and reseat the pcv. Making sure its pressed down into the rubber o ring.
Glad to hear you are back up and running w/o $500 labor charge from the mechanic.

happens quite a bit around here... peeps change the upper intake, and complain about a high pitch whistle... you're missing an o-ring. check out the old upper for comparison

Keep having trouble getting all the fuel injectors to seat at the same time. First one leaked. Tried again and a different one leaked. Tried it again, and a different one leaked. :?

You may also want to check that the brake booster hose is FIRMLY seated in the manifold. That can be kinda just in there but not clicked into the "socket" and will run (poorly) but make lotsa noise. Easier to check than removing / reseating injector rai with injectors.
