Grand Prix Rims on Bonneville !!
I found those Grand Prix Rims on Ebay Item number: 7942621690
and i wonder if i´m able 2 use those on the bonneville. A friend of mine said that since the grand prix is lighter than the bonneville, there is a chance that they break.
Any ideas ??

I doubt they will break unless you smash into a curb at 40 MPH but I"m sure the bonnevilles will too at that speed. Grand Prix is a lighter car, but it still can be loaded up to be just as heavy as our car ( i.e. big passengers ) so for normal driving and such.. I wouldn't worry about it. I doubt GM would put rims on cars that are at the exact weight that the rims will carry.. they know that there will be times that it gets overloaded and the rims MUST hold up to it, or there will be major lawsuits. If you're concerned about breakage.. then a steel rims would be a good bet.. but since you're not curb hopping police officer, the Grand Prix rims should be fine. I believe they has the same bolt pattern as the bonnie 5 x 115mm. That would be something of more of a concern than breakage.

The bolt pattern are the same as on the bonneville 5 x 115mm. I think those rims look really cool. I just tried it in Photoshop and it looks amazing. I think i have to order those

I have a set of these GP wheels on my 95 Bonneville SE:
BEWARE: The wheel offset is different between Grand Prix and Bonneville (wheels look identical until you check the offset), and these GP wheels sit closer to the edge of the fender than a bonneville wheel. Mine contact the rear quarter when its loaded down and I hit a big bump. And this is AFTER I rolled up the wheel opening lips.
YMMV

1989-1996 GP crosslace rims = 16x8"
1990-1999 Bonneville crosslace (all versions of the Bonneville) = 16x7"
