Thanks guys for the info, but I'm still confused I need a OBD 1.5 but the autotap is considered the 2.
Or...
regular autotap with a OBD 1.5 connector
sorry in advance for being a pain,
Rob

Incorrect, 94 and 95 have the Hybrid OBD 1.5. OBD I connector but you need a OBD II reader

robbull,
I cobbled an L67 from a '95 SSEi into my street rod project. I purchased the PC based EASE scan tool for it. While it is more expensive than the Autotap I am pretty happy with it. It is specifically for OBD I. You can purchase (for a few extra bucks) the OBD II connector. My knowledge of all this business is limited but it seems to me, after swapping in my L67 and building the harness, that the ONLY thing OBD II about a '95 is that connector. For instance, ALL engine DTC'* are reported from a single source, circuit 800 (tan) PCM pins WD1 and WD2. (Serial Data). In my case, to save a coupla bucks, I ordered the EASE scan tool with the OBD 1 connector and hooked up only 2 wires. Serial Data, and ground, since I am not interested in status or DTC information on other systems this works just fine for me.
I included the following link on a thread a while back but (1) in case you missed it and (2) if you are interested, here it is again. It gives you an idea of how they have set up their software. BTW, this album describes how I found a wiring problem I had introduced into my TPS circuit.
