glad to see someone else has had the prob. I did scan and reset the ecm did not work and I had it out and looked at it inside and did not see any issuses with it but that dosn't mean anything. I am going to the junkyard and getting a used one tomarrow will let you know

DAVID94SSEI,
Just picked up a '95 SSEi and it sounds like I have the same problem. The exhaust on the right smells like it has a dead cylinder. When checking the plugs all were nice tan color except for #4 which was dark. In this thread I saw PCM and ECM talked about. Does this refer to the same thing? ( the coil Pack) Where you able to just change the pack for the #1 and #4 cylinders?Any sort of reprogramming involved? Any info from your experience would be appreciated.

ECM and PCM are the same things. Except ECM is Engine Control Module and a PCM is a Powertrain Control Module.
