hey

i almost removed my water pump to replace it except i can't get a ratchet small enough to fit in the last bolt that you can get to through an access hole in the engine mount... do they sell ratchets small enough?!

How smal;l is small enough? I've got a palm ratchet & a 1/4" drive ratchet that'* 3" long.

Ugh..

I can picture that project greg... Had to change the water pump on mine last summer, but the series II is A-L-O-T easier than the series I motor. Good luck with it, but last time I talked to a guy that was doing his on his '93, it was a whole day job, and he came back into Advance like 4 times for tools and parts. lol

This probably comes from having to take the whole passengerside of the motor apart so many times last summer when I was doing the timing chainI. I can probably replace the water pump on my series I motor in a little less then 2 hours.
