I got lots of help here with the '97 SE I bought in non-running condition. My Mom owned the '98 SE that I had been driving off and on prior to that. Now she bought a new vehicle, so she gave us the '98. My wife is selling her other car, so we will be a 2 Bonneville household. I'm doing the upper and lower intake gaskets starting today. When I worked in service at a Chevrolet dealer, we threw an upper intake on it (we were in a hurry), as it did what they do. That was at about 75k miles, and it'* now at 99k. Just as a precaution, I'm going in and taking care of the lower, as well as new plugs and wires. How bad can life be, right?

Just to add a little something, here'* a pic of my parents on their wedding day in 1962 in my Dad'* '62 Bonneville that started it all. Those are my Aunts and Uncles on the right, with a few other people that I don't know.
