Noobie to 3800s
Yeah I could do a search, but I'm at work and can't spend a WHOLE lot of time parusing the forum.
Prolly getting a '95 bonny
Can I get a brief (or expanded if you have time) list of what to look for in the 3800 Series II.
All I know about is the plastic IM. Where would I be able to find an aluminum or cast im if they make one?

If it'* non-SC'ed, you'll wanna watch the Upper Intake (trust me...) Other than that, pretty much bullet proof with proper maintenance...
Other will surely chime in with thier experiences, but that'* the main thing that jumps to my mind....

Any input on a "cai" or other cheap mods?
I'm not going to be spending a LOT of money on the car. but letting it breath better can only help in many ways.

The exhaust manifolds are the most restrictive part of the exhaust. You can get cheap ported manifolds at http://www.hulkspeed.com/Pems/Ported...0Manifolds.htm .
BUT your manifolds are year specific and you will need to send him 95 n/a manifolds.
You could do a search and find the CAI/FWI'* other people have made or you can check out www.intense-racing.com for there fender well intake kit.

Master cylinder leaks, also rear brake cylinders. The heat shield above the muffler likes to rust through where it'* screwed in...can cause an annoying rattle.
