No HOT AIR tons of Cold Air HELP
Heat problem
Got a new battery and ever scince the change my heat dont work. THe car is heated up... blowing ice cold air....The digits on the climate control are flashing...I have an 94 sse...

Sounds like the Climate Control has some trouble codes in it. Once these codes are retrieved, they should be able to find out your problems.
I am sure there are other views out there, but that is what happened to my 94 SSEi.

Thank you for the response. I followed the diagnostic steps and determined that the system is low on freon (code 66).
Would you also have any information regarding how to check engine codes?

LittleHovey, I had the same problem in the fall. Codes will tell you for sure, but it is likely a faulty air-mix valve actuator. I was trying to replace mine but couldn't get to it. However, I had moved the actuator arm a few times, and that (or perhaps something else) solved the problem - no more flashing and heat has been pretty good.
