The 2 10mm bolts to the side of the goose neck?
Try an impact socket or tap on the bolt head with a hammer while applying even preasure with a wrench.

i didnt think about tapping on them w/ a hammer, thanks. My last resort may be an impact, but whatever I do im trying not to break them off in the housing, that would be bad.

After 145K these SOB'* dont wanna come out :(

Do what Pdad said to try...Also try taking a flat screw driver and a hammer and tapping the sides of the bolt heads....maybe pretty corroded in there...

This next idea can hurt, but let the car warm up idling.....for about 20 min get it good and hot....then shut the car off and try it....just may need a lil heat?

Default hey

LOl stupid question but are u loosing them??? get a strong socket then put a long bar on your racthet or breaker bar and then apply force either the socket will break or if there that bad maybe the bolts but oh well atleast somethign will be destroyed and thta is all that matters

DAMN!!!

Those aluminum bolts would have snapped the heads off before a socket would crack! LOL.

All the ideas would have suggested have already been stated...
