Default mushy brakes

The brake pedal on my 95 SSEi sinks slowly to the floor whenever I use it... I checked both calipers and both wheel cylinders last night and they were bone dry all around, Furthermore I'm not loosing any fluid... could this be anything other than a bad master cylinder? I just put a new one in two months ago so I really don't want to believe I have to replace it again.

Thanks

If that Master Cylinder was a "Rebuilt" one instead of a "New" one BELIEVE IT! 99% of the rebuilt ones are crap & don't last long.

I would bleed them first...but secondly...are your pads/shoes wore...as they wear down it creates more space between pads n/rotors...so maybe replace them..AND bleed...did this to mine...STOPS great...HARD pedal

Thanks for the replys, guys... I appreciate the input. I should have mentioned that it'* not the 'air in the lines' type mushy, it'* the 'loosing fluid somewhere' type mushy. The front pads are as new as the master cyl, which is to say just a few months, and the shoes are less than a year old (8,000 miles).

So I guess Rat is right, I got a bum master cylinder... now if only I could find that reciept...

All in favor of Master Cylinder? Aye. Aye. Aye. Aye.

The Aye'* have it, another "Rebuilt" P.O.*.

Rebuilt is autopart jargon for "washed thouroughly"

Something somewhat like that happened to me, but I was leaking brake fluid. I had to get a whole new brake system, including the master. :?
